STATEMENT

"As a pulmonary and critical care physician, I combine my passion for patient care with a deep commitment to advancing healthcare through technology. My primary research interest lies in the intersection of clinical informatics and implementation science, fields that are designed to support learning health systems that constantly improve by using data and experiences from past patient care to make future treatments better and more efficient. I lead multiple research and evaluation efforts related to the Veterans Affairs' electronic health record modernization efforts, and I am exploring how artificial intelligence can support and improve patient care. My work, while heavily rooted in research and technology, is ultimately driven by a desire to provide the highest standard of care. My goal is to continually enhance the ways we use technology in healthcare, ensuring that patients receive the most informed, up-to-date treatments available."
