Attitudes and Intentions of US Veterans Regarding COVID-19 Vaccination

Timely research from the Bridge QUERI receives media attention

Thursday, November 4, 2021
New research from CHOIR researchers has been covered by U.S. News and World Report. The research studies Veteran intentions of being vaccinated for COVID-19 and attitudes regarding the vaccine. Findings suggest that targeting Veterans’ concerns around the adverse effects and safety of the vaccines through conversations with trusted VA providers is key to increasing vaccine acceptance.

This research comes from the Bridge QUERI, led by a CHOIR research team including Rani Elwy, Guneet Jasuja, Marla Clayman, Allen Gifford, Keith McInnes, Lara Lobrutto, Richard Carbonaro, and Elizabeth Maguire. This timely work is published in JAMA Network Open and has been covered by the media.
