WHY VA?

Elle chose the Postdoctoral Fellowship at CHOIR since it offers focused training on implementation science and mixed-methods research, two areas she is very interested in gaining more expertise in. In addition, she is primarily interested in populations with co-occurring substance use disorders and behavioral health conditions and examining coordination and collaboration in care among the providers serving those patients. Therefore, she felt the VA would be an excellent place to kickstart her health services research career alongside some amazing mentors and researchers.
